Emily Gell is a Research Analyst at the Crime and Education Lab.

Emily graduated from Brown University with a Master of Public Affairs, concentrating in Data-Driven Policy.  She spent the past six months prior to joining Urban Labs working as an Analyst for the Rhode Island Innovative Policy Lab, measuring the effectiveness of programs serving foster and court involved youth in Rhode Island.  Before pursuing her MPA, Emily worked in New York City as a Paralegal for the Legal Aid Society.
